One of the region’s largest Art and Craft Shows will celebrate its return to the Charleston Convention Center on November 21 – 22, 2025. The 56th Capital City Art and Craft Show is sponsored by the Kanawha City Lions Club.
Each year the Convention Center is filled to the brim with high quality original items at affordable prices. Nearly 175 booths featuring the creative talents of artisans from six states will be on display featuring traditional to contemporary treasures including jewelry, pottery, woodwork, holiday decorations, candles, leather working, basketry, fine art, photography, metal sculpture, stained glass, quilting, textiles and more. For many persons it is an annual ritual to spend the day seeing their favorite exhibitors and meeting new ones. You can be entertained as well watching and learning from craftsmen doing their work. Vendors will sample West Virginia produced food products like dips, salsas, baked goods, honey, jellies, sauces and candies. Since the Show’s inception the Lions Club has used the proceeds of the event to donate more than $1.6 million dollars to state and local charities. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the Show go to charities.
Attendees can win items donated by exhibitors. Craftsmen provide door prizes which are drawn continually. The first 250 attendees each day are given “Lions Buck” coupons for discounts. Children can get their faces painted and participate in a coloring contest and send their letters to Santa.
Show times are 1:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday, November 21st, and 10am to 7pm on Saturday, November 22nd.
Admission is $7 per adult, 12 and under $1.
